Netflix’s “Making a Murderer” Season 2 & Brendan Dassey’s Life Sentence Conviction Overturned

Netflix’s sensational, and the biggest ever social media frenzied documentary to date, Making a Murderer comes back for a second season. We’re all talking about it, so what’s it entail?

According to the UK’s Independent news article:

The story at the heart of ten-part Netflix series Making a Murderer took a shocking turn of events yesterday (12 August) when Brendan Dassey’s life sentence was unexpectedly overturned.

However, the series’ filmmakers – who are currently prepping a follow-up – were not present for the game-changing moment. Instead, they are reportedly looking to recreate the scene.

Additionally to note:

According to Netflix’s Ted Sarandos, Making a Murderer‘s second season will feature a ton of new information that has found its way to executive producers Moira Demos and Laura Ricciardi since the first season debuted on the streaming service in December 2015.

We will definitely be keeping you updated as the season comes closer. Making a Murderer Season 1 is a gripping, emotional, at times gut-wrenching, in-depth look into crime, mental health, “anytown” USA, and the justice system. Highly recommended viewing.
